Sombrero is an affordable Mexican restaurant located in the third floor of Grand Indonesia. It belongs to Michelindo, the same group who imported the BonChon Chicken franchise from Korea to Indonesia.
I had the Mexican Tapas Sample for 45,000rp++, which included a taco, a burrito and a quesadilla. Naturally, the portions were tiny, but it was good and I found it fair value for money. The service was also friendly.
Regarding the place in itself, they really kept the design to a minimum. There are a few paintings on the wall with latin dancers, a small cactus on every table, and tiny Mexican flags.
My big problem was the music. It was a playlist with mostly Latin-American singers such as Enrique Iglesias, Ricky Martin, Marc Anthony, etc... (also Justin Bieber). I had the speaker just behind me and it was so painful to hear them that I left quickly after finishing my meal.
