Mozzarella is a Western restaurant chain with 4 locations in Bali, all of them in the Kuta/Legian area. It is not an Italian restaurant as I first thought: It features mainly popular dishes for the tourists (pastas, steaks, salads, etc). On the day of my visit, I think that over 90% of the customers were Australian families.
I tried the branch they have on Jalan Padma. It is in the open-air, under a typical Balinese balé. The sitting was a quite uncomfortable as they only have wooden chairs or benches. I moved to a sofa area later on but the table was too high so it did not solve the problem. They have good music, not too loud, perfect for a dining atmosphere.
I took the Red Snapper with Cajun Sauce (Rp119,000++). It is not that cheap, and not that good (very oily). The portions were generous though.

My dish came only 5 minutes after I ordered so I imagine they prepare the food in advance. It took much longer to bring me an orange juice actually. The end of my experience in Mozzarella was not good. I was trying to get my bill but it took at least 20 minutes to do so. The staff was friendly and fast except for that incident.
Overall: Average tourist restaurant. Recommended if you are a small group who want to eat classic food at a reasonable price (100,000 - 150,000 for main dish) in a clean atmosphere. Nothing really special here.
