Pantarei is a Greek Restaurant, Bar and Lounge located on Jalan Raya Seminyak. It is owned by 2 Greek nationals (among which Adonis Mantaras) who are also behind the Lio furniture shops.
There are three areas:
- A large dining room in the back which is not very well kept (dirty and messy)
- A bar/lounge which is much nicer, with modern, Ibiza-like décoration, and loud Café Del Mar music.
- A small terrace facing the street which is nice for watching people pass by.
They have a team of pretty waitresses and PRs that are one of the main reasons I was drawn to Pantarei in the first place.
The menu is a bit expensive, and features mostly Greek food. You also have some other popular Western favorites. I tried the Lamb Gyros (113,500rp + 15% tax) which was really excellent. If the price was under 100,000rp, it would have been perfect...
Live music twice weekly on Tuesday and Saturday.
Overall: Pantarei may be one of the best Greek restaurants in Indonesia currently (I also tried in Jakarta Yamas, Halo Niko and El Greco). I think the owners could improve the restaurant by renovating the main dining room.
