Portabella Restaurant (Hotel Fontana Bali)

Portabella is the restaurant located inside Fontana hotel in Bali. In the same location, there is also the 24/7 Sunny Café which I didn't try.

I visited Portabella because I was attracted by its design and appearance. I was hoping that it would be the sign of good, authentic Italian food. I was also told the Chef was Italian.

Unfortunately I was wrong. The food I tried was really average, the kind you would expect to eat in a food court inside a mall. The service was friendly but the waiters seemed confused about my requests.

At last, the place was totally deserted so it didn't give me a very positive impression.

Overall: Portabella has a good look but in terms of food, it is nothing else but the restaurant of a 4-star hotel. I would only recommend it if you are guests of the hotel and if you are lazy to go somewhere else. I don't think that I will go back.
