This is a really late post. I had visited Branché a few days after it had opened a couple years ago (2014) and I had never published my draft review until now.
At the time of my visit, I had met with the owner, a nice, young guy who seemed surprised by the sudden success of his bar. Even though Branché is simple compared to nearby trendy venues in Senopati, it is still quite popular with Indonesians.
My guess is that they enjoy the no-frill atmosphere, the cheaper prices and the young crowd. The bar/restaurant is built on several stories. The top floor is the nicest, with large bay windows and comfortable sofas. There is a French-inspired menu but the quality is disappointing. Expect to pay around Rp250,000 for a meal and an alcohol drink.
Overall: Nothing really special but you may enjoy Branché if you are young and you only need a simple place to drink with friends. Ladies' night on Wednesdays with free flow special cocktails for girls.
