Dronk Bar and Club is located on Jalan Kemang Raya 43A in the same spot where K43 used to be (and before that, Hangover, SF Club and Second Floor). It is managed by the same people behind Tipsy, which closed down recently.
The setting and the design of the club hasn't changed much so you can read my review of K43 for information about that. It is quite small, with a bar on one side, sofas on the other one, and a long table in the middle (this one is new). Customers face the DJ who is perched on a podium. A small stage allows for sexy dancers to perform occasionally.
Dronk is much more popular than K43 ever was because it gets the customers from Tipsy. Fridays and Saturdays are full and even some weekdays (Wednesday, Thursday).
The crowd is typical of Kemang: Very young (18 to 25), not particularly well-dressed, with only a handful of foreigners. Drink prices are low for Jakarta standards, but you have a IDR75,000 entrance fee on weekends.
The music is commercial EDM and top 40 remixes.
Overall: Worth a try if you are looking for a place to party in Kemang.
